Summer

There's a demo mix of Bad up for download.

Summer plans are: gigs in Michigan, North Dakota, and Minnesota. We're not sure who all will be where, this summer is looking to be pretty busy for several members. Hope to see you at a show or two!

Winter

This winter our plans are as such: Try play a gig or two. Record some songs during winter break in our new studio. The songs are: Bad. Forgive. Be My Fire. We Are Sisters.

ps: Signe has really 'Stepped Up To The Microphone' so to speak, and taken the job of lead vocalist by the throat and choked it into submission where she holds it in a cold, deathly grip. Signe, you rock our socks off.

BotB

plaidrock went to Grand Rapids to play at a Battle of the Bands hosted by the Great Northern Fest (or some such thing). We were first of seven to play, and the sky was starting to look troubling. I would like to thank the awesome people who ran the BotB, and the really cool dude that ran the sound, you rock man. I do want my Don't Censor Me CD back.

The grand prize for winning was to open for Thousand Foot Krutch in front of four thousand people. So, we played, then hung around and watched with growing disinterest as the rest of the bands played. It was really cold out. Note to people wanting to compete in a battle of the bands: be a little serious, please. And keep within your time limit, please. Not doing so is lame and disrespects the other bands whose girlfriends are standing in the cold and wet waiting to see their boyfriends play as the crowd slowly dissipates.

We won then, which is awesome. First win for us. But for some lame reason we didn't get to open for TFK though....
